Integrity Management
Jana's Integrity Management Program includes the development of Risk Profiles for each PE pipe grid segment based on field performance, failure analysis and performance forecasting models.
The Risk Profiles consider the specific materials (PE type, generation, etc.), specific components (pipe, fittings, etc.) and specific operating and micro-environment of each grid segment along with the performance history, leak survey results and failure analysis results. The Risk Profiles are updated with new system information as the network ages to provide an always-current picture of the Risk Profile for that specific section of the grid. Grid segments can then be evaluated and re-ranked/prioritized on an ongoing basis.
The process involves three key components:

Develop PE pipe Performance Forecasting Models for system materials

Develop performance forecast for each grid segment based on specific materials and conditions for that segment

Combine the forecast model with historical performance, repair history, leak survey results to develop overall Risk Profile
